Apple Picking

Yesterday morning I decided to go pick a bunch of the apples to store for the evening to feed to the deer.  While up on the ladder picking, and occasionally throw apples on to the ground, a deer walked right up behind me and started to eat the apples I had dropped.  She was a little shy, so when I got off the ladder, she walked to the back of the yard. But I sat on the ground and threw apples to her and she would walk closer and closer eating the apples.  I plan to have them eating out of the palm of my hand by the end of the week.

More Deer!

The deer have been constantly coming to eat the apples since I put them out. There have been more since my last post so I thought I'd throw some of those photos up for you all to enjoy as well.

An Apple a Day Brings the Deer my Way.

The other day I decided to pick a bunch of apples from our tree behind the cabin. I threw everything I picked on the ground for the deer. The next day the apples were all gone. So I threw a bunch more all over the ground and when evening rolled around, there was a constant stream of deer behind the cabin. First there was a single female, very friendly. She would let me go out under the tree and pick apples for her and roll them to her. She left and returned again a couple minutes later. After she left, a family of 3 deer showed up and have yet to leave. There is a mother and two young, one of which still has spots. It's very cute.

Photos with out a home

Took some random photos today of all different things. There was a beautiful spiderweb on one of our boat lifts with a spider in the middle of it. The sun was right behind it so I played around with that for a while.  My Dad and I also went out Kayaking for a couple hours today and I brought my camera along. Didn't take too many pictures because the wind was quite strong and I had to keep paddling most of the time.

I couldn't have stacked them better myself.

Tree Frog

Yesterday, started off like any other day at the cabin. Gorgeous out, so I decided to put the umbrella up and sit at the dock in the shade. While enjoying the heat and the view all of the sudden I heard a plop. A tree from fell from the sky and landed on the dock in front of me. I instantly grabbed it and ran for my camera. It didn't seem to mind me bothering it too much. It kept climbing up my arm onto my back. It was very cute.

Kayaking

This is just a few photos from going out in my kayak around my cabin.  Endless amounts of wildlife.

The Tiniest Tree Frog

My mom actually found this little guy in her garden a couple weeks ago.  The cutest little tree frog I have ever seen. I couldn't resist having a little photo shoot with it.
