August Long Weekend

While most spent the August Long Weekend partying it up at the Kenora Harbourfest, I avoid the town. I spent the weekend with family at the cabin and of course the occasional guest, in the form of wildlife showed up. Snakes, loons, and otters were out. This was the first time I had photographed Otters, which made my weekend.





I also went down the Creek in Kenora to Lawrence's Lake. There is always a Blue Heron in the Creek which I got to photograph again. There were also lots of little birds flying around. My dog came for the boat ride too and was trying desperately to find some shade to sleep in, in the boat.
